Theodore H. Slater Sr. "Ted" age 82, of Mantua passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023.  Born in Bridgeton, NJ, son of the late Robert Robinson Slater and Helen Elizabeth Zuendel. He graduated from Pitman High School Class of 1961.  Ted worked in the maintenance department at Clearview Regional Junior High School in Harrison Twp. NJ for 26 years.  In his spare time he enjoyed watching golf, doing hands on activities of all kinds inside and outside of his home, being with family and friends, and talking about the Bible with people he met as a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses.

Ted is survived by his wife of 61 years, Susan (nee Baker), daughter Denise Slater, son Theodore Slater Jr, daughter in law Michelle Slater, granddaughter Helen Slater and his brother, Robert Slater.
