Obituary for William Sheridan Beverlin

William Sheridan Beverlin, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He graduated from Pitman High School in 1949. He was a Korean and Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Navy for more than 20 years. He was a man of deep faith who studied his Bible faithfully and loved telling people about the Lord. He was a loving husband to his wife Sue, whose love story started as high school sweethearts 73 years ago. They were to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary this year. He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather and his greatest joy was to spend time with all the family.

He is survived by his loving wife Sue G. Beverlin (nee Brown). His children Denise and Stephen Wojcik, William Craig and Bonnie Beverlin, Christina and Edward Kafka and Steven and Sandra Beverlin. His grandchildren Stephanie and Kevin Hasselwander, Brian and Jen Wojcik, Amy Wojcik and Brennan Anthony, Kelly and Dave Craig, William Casey and Tosha Beverlin, Tim and Kim Beverlin, Jeff Beverlin, Rick Beverlin, Jim Cole and Erica Kartak, Shana Cole and Tom Eperjesi. His great-grandchildren Gillian Hasselwander, Sloane Hasselwander, Jules Hasselwander, Arden Hasselwander, Rylee William Osborn, Talon Craig, Tavish Craig, Lula Beverlin, William Rhys Beverlin, Dylan Beverlin, Everett Beverlin, Grayson Beverlin, Ian Beverlin, Lawson Cole, Sybil Cole, Ben Cole and Josie Cole. He was predeceased by his father William Sheridan Beverlin Sr., his mother Elizabeth Beverlin (nee Harris) and sister Elsie Myers.

Family and Friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors.
