William J.  Good
William John Good, age 96 passed peacefully on Saturday, April 18th of natural causes at his residence in Sewell, NJ. Beloved husband and father, he is survived by his wife Thelma (Jo) of 72 years, his three children and their spouses Terry and Sandy, Bonnie and Pete Diaz and Ken and Becca, and his sister Marie (Cox).

He was born in Grenloch, NJ to the late Dorothy (Catlett) and Benjamin Good of Sewell, NJ. He was a graduate of Pitman HS. Bill was a World War II veteran who served with distinction as a Radioman in the US Navy aboard the USS Chilton. He spent the majority of his career at Atlantic City Electric which culminated in a supervisory position at the Glassboro operations. Dedicated to civil service throughout his life, he was involved with the Boys Club, Board of Elections of Gloucester County and Lions International. Bill served as mayor of Mantua Township and was known for his gregarious nature, seemingly knowing and being known by everyone he came into contact with.

A private viewing will be held for immediate family members at Smith Funeral Home in Mantua, NJ, followed by the funeral ceremony and interment at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Williamstown, NJ. A memorial service for extended family and friends will be announced at a future date.
