William Joseph Lare age 70, of Mullica Hill "South Harrison" passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, he was formerly of Pitman before moving to South Harrison. Bill was a police officer for Gloucester Township and Paulsboro and retired from Campbell's Express where he was a safety director. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and playing darts with his friends.

He is survived by his wife Vikki (nee Saul), children, Stephanie Quintavalle & her husband Eric, William Lare Jr., and Michael J. Lare, three grandchildren, Dylan, Nikolas, Aaren, his siblings, Bernie Lare, Dennis Lare & his wife Kathy, Peggy Anne Melchoire & her husband Joe, his sister-in-law, Ros Lare, and several nieces & nephews. Bill was predeceased by his brother, Robert Lare.

Family and Friends may visit from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 28th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private. Memories & condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com.
