Obituary for William R. "Mick" MacMullin Sr.

William R. "Mick"  MacMullin Sr.
William R. MacMullin "Mick", age 95, formerly of Mantua, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Mick was born in a Chestnut Street home in 1924. He attended the Mantua Methodist Church and received the Primary and Senior certificates for attendance. He also attended school in what is now the Mantua Township Historical building. He served in the U. S. Army in 1950, transferred to the Reserves in 1952, and honorably discharged in 1956. Mick enjoyed gardening and was member of VFW Post 7679 in Mantua and was an exempt member of Mantua Fire Company.

Mick was predeceased by his wife, Carol E. (nee Johnstone) and is survived by his children; Deborah (Scott) Weber of Monroeville, NJ, Brian (Lisa) MacMullin, of Mantua, NJ, Sandra MacMullin, Mantua Twp., NJ and daughter-in-law, Jeanine MacMullin of Mantua, NJ ; Seven grandchildren, Kimberly MacMullin Tillman (Mike), William R. MacMullin, III (Nicole), Stephanie Mottershead (Derek), Morgan MacMullin, Victoria Kunen (Ben) and David Zane; and 15 Great grandchildren. Mick was predeceased by his son, William R. (Bob) MacMullin, Jr., granddaughter, Adrienne Weber Burger and four siblings.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Monday, March 2nd, at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 0805. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 2nd, 2020, burial with Military Honors will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mantua VFW Post 7679, 8 New York Avenue, Mantua, NJ 08051.
