Obituary for Wolfgang L. Licht

Wolfgang L. Licht of Sewell passed peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at the age of 67 with his family by his side.

Wolf cherished and devoted himself to his family. He especially loved their trips to Disney World and creating cherished memories. Wolf enjoyed working with his hands and helping his family renovate their homes. He was often found maintaining his family's cars to a soundtrack fueled by the music of the '50s and '60s. Wolf also spent time relaxing with his favorite cowboy show, The Rifleman. He recently retired from his career in HVAC after 29 years and will be deeply missed.

His grandchildren will remember him as Opa, the man who made them smile and danced with them to their favorite "Hot Dog" and "Tiki Bird" songs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Catherine Patricia (nee Shaw); his children, Lisa Wilson (T.J.) and Larry Licht (Monet); two grandchildren, Nevaeh Rose and Ezra Wolfgang Licht; his mother, Katharina Licht; and his sister, Angie Blankenbiller (Roy).

Family and friends are welcome to visit from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Smith Funeral Home, located at 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM.
