Obituary for Michael C DeCarlo

Michael Charles DeCarlo, 36, of Haddon Heights, passed away suddenly on August 14, 2015. He was born February 15, 1979, the son of Nicholas and Ruth (Shaw) DeCarlo and grew up in West Deptford. Upon graduating from West Deptford High School, Michael completed Fire Fighter I training at the Camden County Fire Training Academy and went on to volunteer with a local fire department.

Michael enjoyed playing the drums and was a member of the Camden County Emerald Society Pipes & Drums.

Michael is survived by his parents, Nicholas and Ruth of Haddon Heights, his brother Nicholas (Lesa) DeCarlo of Wenonah, his sister Lisa (Matt) Schilling of Sicklerville, his nieces and nephews, Julia, Nicky, Kyle, John and Addison, as well as his grandmother Jennie (Fairburn) DeCarlo and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved Chihuahua, Puppy.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Angels Parish (formerly St. Patrick's Church), 64 Cooper Street, Woodbury, New Jersey 08096.
