Obituary for Franklin J. Rhodes
Franklin J. Rhodes, age 93, of Pitman, NJ, passed away Tuesday,
August 25th, 2015 at home. Franklin was born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ.
He was a proud graduate of Lehigh University Class of 1944 with a BS in
Mechanical Engineering. Franklin was a WWII Army Veteran, having served in
China. He was employed as a Mechanical Engineer for many years with
Foster Wheeler Corporation, and lived until 2009 in Parsippany, NJ. He was
long-time member of the Presbyterian Church of Morris Plains, and most
recently was a member of the Pitman Road Church of Christ. He enjoyed
spending his time with his family.
Franklin is survived by his daughters Diana (Garth) Hutchinson of Pitman
and Kathleen (Craig) Young of Marseille, France. Grandchildren
Sarah, Lucas, and Claire Hutchinson, Emilie and Esther Young.
