A. Curtis Sweeney, age 60 of Sewell, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Curt graduated in 1970 from Clearview Regional High School, he then enlisted in the Navy and moved to Florida in 1972. Curt worked for Jacobson's, then earned his barber's license and operated his own shop in Winter Park, FL. Later he went back to college and got his Bachelors Degree in elementary education from University of Florida in 2005. Curt then worked as a teacher in Volusa County, FL until returning to New Jersey in September. Curt love to cook! Predeceased by his parents Frank H. & Sara L. Sweeney, he is survived by four sisters, Sara (Tryg) Farestad, Frances (Frank) Kircher, Cynthia (Mike) Troyner, Eileen (Chuck) Foster, two brothers Frank H. Sweeney Jr., and Ron (Mary) Sweeney, 12 nieces & nephews, 11 great nieces & nephews. Curt was also predeceased by sister Mary Adams, nieces Jacqueline Troyner and Grace Farestad. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 7 to 9 PM Friday, Dec. 14 and 8 to 9 AM Saturday, Dec. 15 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ. Burial Office and Eucharist will be Saturday 10 AM at The Episcopal Church Of The Good Shepherd, 315 Highland Terrace, Pitman, NJ. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
