Albert Edwin  Banks Sr.
Albert E. Banks Sr. age 88, of West Deptford, went home on Friday, October 16, 2015. Born in Franklinville, he served in the Navy during World War II. Albert worked as a mechanical designer who loved God and his family very much. He was known for keeping up with current events and tinkering with all things mechanical.

Husband of the late Bernice E. Banks (nee Frenzel), he will be missed by his daughter, Carol (Wayne)Clark, two sons Albert E. (Cynthia) Banks, Jr., Robert W. (Densen) Banks, grandchildren Chris (Kelli), Josh, Eric, Kaileen, Nathan, Juvy & Hailey, great grandson Jace, brother Harry (Ginny) Banks and sister-in-law Irene Banks. Albert was also predeceased by his brothers Frank and Bill Banks.

Family & friends may visit from 10 to 11 AM Monday, October 19th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua where a celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM. Burial wilth military honors will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Samaritan's Purse or Vitas Hospice, 18 E.
