Obituary for Alexander L. DiSanto Sr.

Alexander L.  DiSanto Sr.
Alexander L. DiSanto Sr., age 96, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Alexander worked at RCA in Camden for 40 years, retiring in 1982 at the age of 60. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne, jumping in five major battles, including Normandy and The Battle of the Bulge. In 1949 he and Janet moved to Mantua, and he lived there until 2017. He was married to Janet for over 62 years, until her death in 2012.

Alexander is predeceased by wife Mary "Janet" DiSanto (Ducat), survived by children Victoria Caucci (Joseph), Alexander DiSanto, Jr., Joseph DiSanto (Teresa) and John DiSanto (Jennifer), grandchildren Joel Caucci (Jessica), Lauren Roberts (Dave), Todd Caucci (Edward Green), Michael DiSanto (Stephanie) and Max Di Pettusanto (Vanessa), predeceased by grandson Jason Caucci in 2017. Alexander is also survived by great grandchildren Joel, Jr., Sofia, Ella, Andrew, Apollonia and Indira. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph and sisters Lucy and Mary.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Monday, June 11th, at Church Of The Incarnation 240 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am with burial and Military Honors to follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ.
