Alice Barbara (Talley) Barger, age 74, of Mantua, NJ, went to be with the Lord suddenly on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Loving wife of Robert Bargerfor 32 years. Daughter of the late LeRoy & Alice (Jacobs) Talley, and a life time resident of Mantua, NJ. Alice was a long time member of Abundant Life Christian Center, and of the Oak Valley Friendly Seniors Club where she maintained the titles Sunshine Coordinator and was newly installed as Trustee. Before retirement, she worked for TYCO for many years. Alice loved to sing and play bingo with the seniors. Alice is also survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as several in-laws along with her cousin that she always referred to as her “nephew”, Richard (Stacy) Chrone and their daughters Madison & Rylee, many Brothers & Sisters in the Lord, and many loving friends, all of which she held very dear to her heart. Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Monday, November 30th, at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted to Abundant Life Christian Center 229 Wenonah Blvd., Mantua, NJ 08051.
