Obituary for Allen R. Kressley

Allen R. Kressley age 82, passed away Wednesday June 4th, 2014 at home. Allen was a Mantua resident for over 50 years. He served on the USS Albany during the Korean War and worked for over 40 years at the Eagle Point Refinery. Allen attended Bartram and Paulsboro High Schools, was a former member of Mantua Vol. Fire Company, belonged to the United Methodist Church of Mantua, and served as President of Mantua Improvement Association. Allen Is husband of Ruth C. (Lisle), also survived by 4 children Allen R. Jr. (Jeanine), Steven (Phyllis), Susan Sullivan (Kevin), Joanne Pape (Carl), 9 grandchildren Steven Jr. (Kelly), Michael (Melissa), Brian, Douglas (Kelly), Andrew (Daneen), Julie (Nick), Kevin Sullivan (Linda), Ashlee Sullivan, Carl James Pape, 5 great grandchildren Lindsey, Lacey, Steven 3rd, Michael, Madelyn, sister Sara Davidson, brother Carl Kressley (Karen). Predeceased by parents Berniece and Robert Kressley and sister Janet Walck. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday June 8th from 6 to 8 PM at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main St. Mantua, NJ 08051. Also Monday June 9th, 2014 from 10 to 11 AM at United Methodist Church Of Mantua 201 Mantua Blvd. Mantua, NJ where Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM. Interment service with Navy honors will follow at Wenonah Cemetery. Contributions may be made to United Methodist Church of Mantua or Lighthouse Hospice 1040 N.
