Obituary for Barbara A. Curtis (McDougall)

Barbara A. Curtis (nee McDougall) age 78, of Pitman passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 surrounded by her children who cherished her. Daughter of James and Ella McDougall, sister to Alison, she was a graduate of Gloucester City High School Class of 1955 where she was nominated prom queen. She retired from First Fidelity Bank in Woodbury after a 30 year career. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends, & long walks with her best friend – her dog Clark.
Wife of the late Len Curtis, she is survived by her seven children, Joseph Curtis (Judy) of Mantua, Suzanne VanBrill (Mike) of Mullica Hill, Steven Curtis (Liane) of West Deptford, Barbara Curiale (Pat) of Sewell, Leonard Curtis (Mary) of Paulsboro, Michael Curtis of San Francisco, CA, Diane Quinto (Terry) of Woodbury; grandchildren, Joseph, Charles, Steven, Michael, Vanessa, John, Mike, & Brooke, Matthew, Monica, Christie, Patrick, Gina, Brittany, Barbara, Joseph, Leilani, Terry, Chris, Steven; her sister, Alison Malony (Nelson) of Cherry Hill, and nieces, Jill & Lisa. She was truly loved by all.
Family and close friends may visit with the family from 9:30 to 11 AM, Tuesday, November 25th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua where a time of sharing will begin at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hurffville. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
