Bernice Virginia Briley of Gloucester City, formerly of Philadelphia on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, our beloved mother Bernie passed away quietly with her loved ones by her side at the age of 88. She could often be seen at the bowling alley as it was her passion in life and she bowled up to the age of 85. Bernie was a widower for 31 years, married to the late Gordon Briley for 39 years. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Bernice Esposito (Nick), Patricia Bloom, Kathleen Buri (John), Jacqueline Lentz (Ken), 7 granddaughters and 12 great grandchildren. At her request no service will be held as she wanted no tears cried over her.
