Carl W. Gruber, Jr. (Bill), age 55 of Mickleton, NJ went Home on Monday, April 27, 2009. Bill was born in Woodbury and had been a resident of Gloucester County all his life. He had worked for Mobil Oil in Paulsboro and presently was a Service Center Manager for Hagemeyer in Logan Township. He was a Master Model Railroader and a member and former president of the Mid-East Region of the National Model Railroad Association. Bill was a faithful part of the Fellowship Bible Church family and was a sponsor of a child for Childrens' Fellowship of India. Much-loved husband of Sarah (Sandy, nee Sexauer), he is also survived by son Albert of Indianapolis, IN, daughter Tara of West Deptford, his mother Jean Gruber of Mickleton, three brothers Barry Gruber (Stella) of Mickleton, Paul Gruber (Joyce) of Paulsboro, John Gruber (Pat) of Clayton, and his faithful friends "Boomer" & "Casey". Relatives and friends may visit with the family 6 to 8:30 PM Sunday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ and 9:30 to 11 AM Monday at FELLOWSHIP BIBLE CHURCH 590 Jackson Rd., Sewell, NJ. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Interment will be in Eglington Cemetery.
