Catherine E. Carlson (Collins), age 95 passed away September 1, 2015, and as always was thinking of her dear family and friends. Daughter of Margaret & Russell Collins. Catherine attended Underwood Business School and later was employed as a secretary for Pennell & Wiltgerger, Engineers for many years, then retired to raise her daughter. For sixteen years she enjoyed working as a secretary/receptionist for Mantua Metal Products in Woodbury Heights, that later became Tyco Industries. Catherine lived in Wenonah since 1942, was a member of Wenonah Presbyterian Church, belonged to the former Wenonah Lions Auxillary, and the Oak Valley Friendly Seniors. She enjoyed going on trips, to dinner and playing Bingo.
Wife of the late Edward Carlson, Catherine is survived by daughter Nancy J. Holston & her husband John S. Holston Jr., grandchildren Heidi Holston, of Deptford, Kari Schladenhaufen (Regis), of Warwick, PA, John S. Holston, III, of Woodbury. Great Grandchildren, Nathan & Ellie, Brother, Russell Collins, of Palmyra and many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 10 to 11am, Friday, September 4th at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St. Mantua, NJ 08051, Funeral service following at 11 AM. Burial at Wenonah Cemetery.
