Clayton Rager age 86, of South Harrison Twp. passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. He was born to Clayton Rager and Rita (Hopfer). Clayton retired from Philadelphia Electric Company, and was President of Local 1360 Retiree Club. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Salem County Sportsmen's Club and their Tuesday's Maintenance Crew. Clayton enjoyed gardening, bowling, and playing horseshoes. Most of all he loved his family, and adored his grandchildren, and great granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife JoAnn Rager (Salsgiver), his children, Kenny Salsgiver of Mays Landing, Cindy Rager (Fred) of Stow Creek, and Donna Sanger (Jon) of South Harrison Twp., daughter-in-law, Carole Rager of South Harrison Twp., six grandchildren, JJ (Lenny), Richard, Alexandrea (Mike), Kurt, Joel, and Melissa (Dave), and his great granddaughter, Violet Skye. Clayton was predeceased by his son Clayton, and his brother, Floyd Rager.

Family and Friends may visit from 9 am to 11 am on Thursday, June 7th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am.
