Over the last four years, I was given an opportunity to work with a man, a friend who was an exceptional human being, who was always considerate of others, who could keep his cool when things got difficult, who always wanted to make the product the best it could be. Dan was that friend. If there were something that needed to be done, fun or not…Dan would be there. If someone needed help, Dan would be there. If Dan saw an opportunity to make the helicopter better he would grab it and wouldn’t let it go. If a process seemed broken or didn’t make sense, he would try and fix it. Recently, when the division was trying to transition to a new software/process, he was there to lend a hand…. when someone needed help, Dan was there. He volunteered to help another team for a couple of weeks in Florida because this team needed the help....when someone needed help, Dan was there. So, I had to get by without Dan for a few weeks while he was in Florida…that was going to be tough…not having him back, is incomprehensible.
