David H.  Sherbondy
David H. Sherbondy 68, of Mantua passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019. David was the longtime manager at Cedar Grove and Maplewood Village, in Mantua. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, who served in the Vietnam War. David enjoyed baking, roller skating, Phillies games and spending quality time with his neighbors, friends and family.

David is survived by the love of his life, Leona; mother Frances H. Organista (nee Still) and stepfather Joseph Organista; three children, Jacob, Lydia and Sarah; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cole and Tim.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 23rd and Monday, June 24th from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Township, NJ 08094. Donations in David's memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or woundedwarriorproject.org.
