Edith M. Schadt age 93, of Woodbury Heights formerly of Bellmawr and Collingswood passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, she was very active her entire life. Edith was a faithful member of the Fairview Community Baptist Church for 80 years where she was married and taught Sunday School for many decades. She worked part-time at Macy's in Cherry Hill 25 years. She enjoyed crafts, loved cooking & baking and volunteered for the Salvation Army's Meals on Wheels program delivering meals to the disabled in their homes. Edith loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wife of the late August C. Schadt, she is survived by her two daughters, Gail Read & her husband Richard of Woodbury Heights, and Linda McDonald of West Deptford, two grandchildren Sharon Geraghty & her husband Glen, and Daniel Read & his wife Diane, four great grandchildren, Morgan & Micah Geraghty, and Cole & Lauren Read. Edith was predeceased by her sister, Marian and brothers Herbert & Jack Muench.

Family and friends may visit from 10 to 11 AM Friday, July 31st, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM and burial will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill.
