It was a true blessing when Sandy and I took dad back East on the train in 2011 and were able to spend a couple of days with Aunt Emma. We drove down to Cape May one day. Dad and Aunt Emma were like a couple of little kids riding in the back sit. They brought up child hood memories and people they knew and would laugh so hard. She had us go to a restaurant for lunch that was one of your families favorite spots. It was a day I will treasure forever. The next day we went to her house again and I was able to reconnect with most of my cousins who I hadn't seen in years. Aunt Emma was so kind to me when she gave me grandpas military burial flag. I was very touched by that gesture. Sandy really enjoyed meeting and talking to Aunt Emma. She said we lost a real sweetheart!
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
