One story that sticks in my mind is when we went on a trip to Canada. We drove miles to go on a glass bottom boat. Gloria wasn't feeling too good and was sitting down just checking out the scenery. There were a million flies on the boat with us. They were landing on the glass where Gloria was watching the scenery go by. She must have killed a hundred flies. I kept hearing a "whack" and it was Gloria smacking the flies. I don't think she ever got up from her seat to see the sights from the glass bottom boat. But she was proud of all the flies she killed that day.
She loved to shop. We could always find her in the gift shop wherever we traveled. Buying gifts for family and friends.
To go wayyy back in time, all the great banquets we had with the car club and Al and Gloria were always the first on the dance floor. Loved to watch them do the polka. The chicken dance song was alway on the dance list.
So Gloria and Al are up in heaven doing the polka once again together.
God Bless
