Stock, Martha Grace (nee Martin), age 90 of Worton, MD, died August 15, 2007 following a short illness in Chestertown, Md. Mrs. Stock was born on Feb. 15, 1917, in E. Bangor, Pa., the daughter of Martha Gibbs and John Henry Martin. She was a graduate of Bangor High School. She lived for 20 years in W. Philadelphia, where she met her husband of 61 yrs., Canning H. Stock, who preceded her in death in 2005. They lived in Mantua for 43 yrs, where they raised their three children. She later moved to Sewell, and in 2003, moved to Maryland, where she lived with her son and his wife, Martin and Corrinne Stock. In addition, she is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Barry Hawlk of Dover, De. and Paula and Dennis Smith of LaMarque, Texas, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and her sister, Frances Bisher of Bangor, Pa. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mantua, N.J.Relatives and friends may visit with the family 10 to 11 AM Monday, August 20, 2007 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St. Mantua where funeral services will be held at 11AM.
