Hilda Grimes (nee Fancher), age 91, of Pitman passed peacefully Saturday, March 30, 2024. She was a dedicated homemaker, taking pride in raising her family. Hilda was known for her generous, giving nature. She liked spending her time playing games, attending Trinity Methodist Church in Mullica Hill, but mostly spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were all very important to her. 

Hilda is survived by her children, Kathleen Ziegenfuss, John Grimes and his wife, Susan, Cheryl McManaway and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Brandy, Jessica, Amanda, Sarah (Max), Alexus, and Luke; great grandchildren, Kyley, Jocelyn, Jordan, Gracie, Anna, and Justice; best friend, Irene Gerbrick; and many other friends and family. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Luke W. Grimes, and her son-in-law, Karl Ziegenfuss.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 284 Cedar Road, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm.  Burial to be private at Zion Methodist Cemetery in Cecilton, Maryland.
