J. Carl Callahan
J. Carl Callahan, age 90 died Sunday, January 3, 2010. A long-time resident of West Deptford, he previously resided in Haddon Heights. Carl was retired from Mobil Oil in Paulsboro where he was a Lab Technician in research. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a founding member of the Bonsal Blues and he was also a model train buff.
Husband of Alice (nee Pollock), he is also survived by his son Steven C. Callahan of West Deptford, daughter Alice Clancy of Woodbury, brother Joseph Wilkins, sister Kathryn Webb, and grandchildren, Shannon & Michael Clancy & Cody Pierce.
