starting out

I met John in April of 1974. That was when I started working for New York Telephone. John was already there a few months and helped me understand the finer points of being a representative. It was a stressful job dealing with customers but John was always cool headed and took things in stride.He was a good friend to me for the 4 years I was there. I left the company in 1978 and went to work for the State of New Jersey, Board of Public Utilities. About 10 years ago I met John again went he came to work at OET since BPU staff have to attend certain OET meetings. John hadn't changed. He was still the same bright and good nature guy I new years before.
