Obituary for John Richard Denham Jr.
John R. Denham Jr., "Jack" age 79, of Woodstown passed peacefully Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at home surrounded by family. He graduated Woodbury Highschool class of 1963 and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. serving in the Vietnam war. John retired from IBEW Local 351 as an Electrician.
He enjoyed spending his time involved with Masons & Shriners groups, helping with the Cub & Boy Scouts, flying (Private Pilot), boating (water skiing), watching shuttle launches in Florida, and being at the shore. John is survived by his children, Jack Denham and his wife, Lauren of Pennsville, David Denham and Karyn of Woodstown, and Al of Monroeville. His grandchildren, AJ, Cali, Branson, Johnna, and Ethan; and his siblings, Bob, Diane, Tom, and Lori. Predeceased by his wife Donna (nee Long).
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, with Military Honors and burial to follow at Pittsgrove Baptist Cemetery, County Route 615 Woodstown-Daretown Road, Upper Pittsgrove, New Jersey 08318.
