Obituary for Joseph Guzzo
Joseph Guzzo age 90, of "Sewell" Mantua Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Born in Caccamo, Italy he lived in South Philadelphia, and has lived in Sewell for the last 22 years. Joe worked as a General Contractor who specialized in stone, brick, and cement masonry. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, and investing his time in real estate.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pauline (nee Castagna), three daughters, Rose Marie Guzzo, Linda (Vincent) Campisi, and Pina (Wayne) Langdale, two grandchildren, John Campisi and Nicole Langdale, his brother, Anthony (Annette) Guzzo, and two sisters, Giovanna Bravata, and Sina (Tom) Patti. Joe was predeceased by his brothers, Vincent and Frank Guzzo, and his sister Josephine DiPasquale.
Family and Friends may visit from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 17th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, July 17th, at Church Of The Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. Entombment will follow at Fernwood Cemetery in Lansdowne, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Church of the Incarnation at the address above. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
