Obituary for June L. Mease

June L.  Mease
June Potter Mease of Wenonah passed away at age 84 surrounded by her family on July 5, 2016. She was the loving wife for 60 years to Keith Mease. She was born in Gary, Indiana and was one of ten children and is survived by her siblings Helen, Phil, Audrey and Diane. She was the beloved mother to Karen Motzel, Kimberly Vassallo, Keith (Barbara) Mease and Kurt (Christine) Mease.
She was a lifetime member of the Parent and Teachers Association and Presbyterian Hospital of Nursing. Upon graduation from nursing she served as an Operating Room Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia. She married Keith Mease on September 24, 1955. With the birth of Karen, Kimberly, Keith and Kurt she devoted her life to her family until they were grown and in 1987 after a refresher course she went back to nursing. She nursed at the Guardian Adult Daycare Center in Glassboro, a position she held from 1989 until 2006, retiring at the age of 74.
She was the adoring grandmother to Christina (Doug) Williams, Jennifer (Bob) Sykes, Philip (Hayley) Vassallo, Michael (Alicia) Howard, Mark Howard, Keith (Sheena) Mease Phillip (Jen) Mease, Rachel (Chris) Coleman, Bradley Mease, Allison Mease and Daniel Mease. A loving great grandmother to Caiden Mease, Austin Mease, Gracie Mease, Annabelle Williams, Ellamae Williams, Hailey Sykes, Ryan Coleman, Bettyanne Howard, Leah Howard, Authur Howard and Penny Howard. June loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had treats from them when they stopped over. A faithful member of Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wenonah since 1960. She enjoyed her church family, sharing her faith and love for others.
Friends may call on Saturday, July 9th from 10am-11am with memorial service at 11am at the Memorial Presbyterian Church of Wenonah, 202 E. Mantua Avenue, Wenonah, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Memorial Presbyterian Church of Wenonah Building Fund, 202 E. Mantua Avenue, Wenonah, NJ 08090.
