Kenneth B. Sweeten Sr. age 68, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015. Ken was born in Blackwood and lived in Gibbstown since 1978. He worked for Ross Enterprises as a truck driver where he enjoyed his job and his fellow workers. Ken rode Enduro dirt bikes and loved spending time with the grandchildren. Husband of Mary (Lewandowski) of 48 years, he is also survived by his daughter, Kathy Torrence (Mike), 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Emily, 2 brothers, Robert J. Sweeten Jr. (Nellie), Donald Sweeten (Barbara), and his dog Dusty. Ken was predeceased by his son Kenneth Sweeten Jr. Family and friends are invited to visit from 2 to 3 PM, Wednesday, January 28th, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 47 Main Street, Mantua. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
