Obituary for Michael J. Micklasavage

Michael J. Micklasavage age 86, passed away Monday April 14th, 2014 at home. Born in New Philadelphia, PA, he was a resident of Woodstown since 1957. He served in the Navy during World War ll and the Korean War. He was employed by the Salem County Memorial Hospital from May 1958 until retiring April 1997. Mike was also a member of the Woodstown Moose, he enjoyed being an usher at St. Joseph Church, fishing, clamming, hunting, cooking, and spending time with his family. Husband of the late Nancy (nee Visalli), he is survived by son Michael C. Micklasavage Sr and his wife Vicki, daughter Jane M. Krajewski and her husband Francis, a grandson Michael C. Micklasavge Jr., sisters Marie Anastasia (Jack), Helen Balsko, Anna Williams (Butch), brothers Joseph (Lucy), and Vincent Micklasavage. Family and friends are invited to visit 6 to 8 PM Monday April 21st and 9 to 10 AM Tuesday April 22nd at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St. Mantua, NJ 08051. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Tuesday in Catholic Community Of The Holy Spirit Parish at St. Joseph Church in Woodstown. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
