Obituary for Raymond R. Williams

Raymond R. Williams age 91, of Deptford Twp. "Oak Valley" passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018. Born in Verga and raised in Gloucester, he has been a resident of Oak Valley since 1974. Ray served in the Navy during the end of WWII, and was a Payroll Supervisor at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. In his spare time he loved old western movies, old time country music, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan.

Husband of the late Virginia "Rae" Williams (nee Leap), he is survived by his daughter, Terry Podolski and her husband Frank, grandchildren, Gregg Podolski and his wife Kristina and their children Kayla & Evan, and Jeff Podolski and his wife Stacy and their children Alayna & Jace, and two brothers, Bob Williams, and Roy Williams and his wife Robin. Ray was predeceased by his daughter, Carolyn Seddon, his grandson, Steven Seddon, and sister-in-law, Joan Williams.

Family and Friends may visit from 11 am to 12 pm on Thursday, July 26th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua where a Memorial Service will be held at 12 pm. Burial will take place at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro. Ray's family encourages visitors to please wear Philadelphia Eagles attire. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
