Richard F. Wagner, Sr., age 80 of Medford, NJ died Monday, September 10, 2012. Formerly from Woodbury Heights, he was retired as an Air Traffic Controller working most of his career at Philadelphia Int'l Airport. During the Korean War he served in the US Air Force. Rick was a craftsman who could fix anything and liked to work with his hands. He also enjoyed reading and visits to the shore, particularly Cape May, but most of all he was a family man. He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Theresa Carr; his children: Donna and Debbie Wagner, Denise (Charles) Manchester and Roe Wagner, John Carr, Daniel (Phyllis) Carr, Eileen (Richard) Maenner and Terri Carr; his sister Jeanne Graves; grandchildren: Richard, Randy & River Wagner, Laura & Julia Manchester, Dan, Anthony & Kirsten Carr and Hunter, Chase & Campbell Maenner. He was predeceased by his son Richard Wagner, Jr and his grandson Ryan Wagner. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 1 to 2 PM Friday, September 14 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where memorial services will be held at 2 pm. Cremation will be private.
