Obituary for Robert W. Keen
Robert W. Keen age 82, of Mantua Twp. formerly of Blackwood passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023. He graduated from Paulsboro High School and served in the US Air Force. Robert retired from Gloucester Township Public Works where he was an equipment operator and supervisor. He loved antique cars and listening to oldies music. Robert was an avid Philadelphia Flyers Fan, but most of all he loved annual vacations in Ocean City, Maryland and trips to Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Keen (nee Bruder), his children, Heidi Oakley (Jeff) of Iowa, Joseph Coveleski (Jenny) of Elmer, and Stephen Coveleski (Janet) of Mantua; five grandchildren, Samantha, Jeffrey, Jordana, Jayden, & Ashlyn; and two great grandchildren, Bentlee & Bryar. Robert was predeceased by two brothers & two sisters.
Family & Friends may visit from 9:30 am to 11 am on Monday, December 11th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Interment with Military Honors will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 12th at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Rd., Williamstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by clicking here.
