Obituary for Robert C Wright

Robert C Wright
Robert Cecil Wright was called to the side of his Lord on September 3, 2016. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Sherry Massimini Wright of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; his three children, Tracy Wright Lyons Spencer (husband James Spencer, II) of Woodville, Texas, Wendy Wright McComas Hall (husband Daniel Hall) of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Robert Wright (wife Stacy). He also leaves his precious grandchildren, Cameron Lyons of Vidor, Texas, Nicholas McComas of Leavenworth, Kansas, Tyler McComas of Leavenworth, Kansas, James “Trey” Spencer, III of Woodville, Texas, Morgan and Ryleigh Wright and his dear younger brother, Douglas Wright (wife Carmela Clement-Wright) of Fairhope, Alabama.
Robert was born to the late Cecil and Bobbie Wright in Mobile, Alabama on October 1, 1943. After graduating from Crawfordville High School in Crawfordville, Florida, he served his country proudly as an airman in the United States Air Force. During his service, his best friend, John Massimini, introduced him to Sherry Massimini. They married on November 26, 1965, and settled in Crawfordville, Florida. Throughout Robert’s working life, Robert, Sherry and the kids lived in South Florida, Southeast Texas, and Northwest Mississippi. Then, Robert’s career took him to areas of New Jersey, Texas, Kansas and Missouri. He eventually retired in New Jersey. One of his favorite aspects of his last several locations was the ability to spend time with his grandchildren.
Robert is now reunited with his parents in paradise.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the Veteran’s Administration’s Parkinson’s Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
