Samuel C. Visalli, Sr., age 74 of Whispering Pines Farm, South Harrison Twp., NJ died Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Sam farmed in South Harrison Twp. since he was 10 years old and he was retired from DuPont in Deepwater where he worked as a chemical operator for 31 years. He served on the South Harrison Twp. Parks and Recreation Commission, was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #12503 and was a lifetime member of Eagle Point Gun Club. Husband of Barbara "Bunny" (nee Beckett), he is also survived by his daughter Bernadine Visalli, brothers Joseph (Grace) Visalli of Mullica Hill and Carmen (Mary) Visalli of Hardingville and sister Alfina "Toots" (John) Redkoles of Carneys Point. He was predeceased by his son, Samuel C. Visalli, Jr., sister, Nancy Micklasavage and his parents, Jennie & Charles Visalli. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 6 - 8:30 PM Friday, September 9 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 8:30 pm.
