Obituary for Susan D. Fiocco (Long)

Susan D. Fiocco (Long)
Susan D. Fiocco (nee Long) age 64, of Sewell passed Thursday, February 23, 2023, at home peacefully surrounded by family. Susan was a lifelong homemaker dedicated to raising her children. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, who meant everything to her. Susan had the sweetest spirit that lit up any room she entered. She had a no judgement attitude and truly loved everyone in the unique way they were created. She had an open door policy to Fioccoland and provided a safe, fun, & welcoming home to make memories for anyone that walked through the door. She loved people and loved them well. She would do absolutely anything for those she loved and always put them before herself. She was the most loyal friend and was always an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. No matter what, she was there for the people she loved when they needed her, whether big or small. She never took life too seriously, knew how to have fun, and did not sweat the small stuff. Her laugh was contagious and boy did she laugh often. She truly showed the kindness and selflessness of Jesus without even realizing it, simply by being her loving self. Her life may have been cut short here on earth, but she lived every hour before heaven impacting others.

Susan was preceded in death by her beloved son Johnny while survived by her loving husband John Fiocco, her children Nicholas (Andrea) Fiocco, Kelly (Timothy) Bast, and Brooke (Nicholas) Bonilla. Her grandchildren Maddie, Finn, Leo, Wade. Willow, Harley, Beckham, and Brooklyn. Also, by her siblings Sandy Patterson, Wendy Hennefer, Bruce Long, and Scott Long.

Family and Friends are invited to visit the family from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Church of the Incarnation 240 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051 followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the John Anthony Fiocco Jr. Scholarship Fund to continue to provide scholarships for students who share qualities of Susan’s late son Johnny. Checks can be made payable to "John Fiocco" with John Anthony Fiocco Jr. Scholarship Fund in the MEMO and mailed to: Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051.
