Tilghman ''Paul'' Genovese, age 78 died Tuesday, January 22, 2013.
Born in Camden, he had been a resident of Gloucester County for many years. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He had worked for Barrington and Mantua Township Police Departments, and was a retired Lt. with the Gloucester County Prosecutors Office. Mr. Genovese was the Past President of Retired Police & Fire Association, and a member of PBA Local 122. He was a member of Mantua Masonic Lodge #95 and formerly of the Audubon Masonic Lodge. Husband of the late Shirley (nee Stevenson), he is survived by three daughters Barbara Graci, her husband Bob is deceased, Cathy Goss and husband Neal, Lori Chrzanowski and husband Bob, 4 grandchildren Michael Williams, Danielle O'Mealia, Lauren Ristine, Heather Toledo, 6 great grandchildren Justin, Kendall, Kayleigh, Shealin, Roman, Logan, 2 brothers Tim and David Genovese. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 7 to 9 PM Sunday, January 27th and 10 to 11 AM Monday, January 28th at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Interment with military honors will be in Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
