The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Victor Anderson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Jake's Tree

Recently Victor planted a tree in memory of his son, Jacob.  I came across a Buddhist story and I know Vic would appreciate it.

I asked the leaf whether it was frightened because it was autumn and the other leaves were falling. The leaf told me, “No. During the whole spring and summer I was very alive. I worked hard and helped nourish the tree, and much of me is in the tree. Please do not say that I am just this form, because this leaf form is only a tiny part of me. I am the whole tree. I know that I am already inside the tree, and when I go back to the soil, I will continue to nourish the tree. That’s why I do not worry. As I leave this branch and float to the ground, I will wave to the tree and tell her, ‘I will see you again very soon.’"

I met Victor when Jacob was just a tween.  We went to all of Johnny Depp's movies together.  He was a good guy, mindful and spiritual in his way.  He was a good friend and I loved him.

He's with Jacob & his Dad, now.  I know he is at peace. Rest, my friend, I miss you.
