Blessed to have known Bill Connelly.

I met Billy a little over eight years ago at the Marriott in Philadelphia. I was talking to a paperhanger about Jesus and he said boy I got someone to introduce to you and it was Bible Bill. I was at Crossroads at that time seeking Jesus and Billy listen to all my garbage probably within the first week he met me, he's been listening to me ever since. He was great to work for and his family has always been good to us. He was always buying us lunch and he never missed an opportunity to go to the all you can eat Chinese buffet. Recently he asked all of us to go on a fishing trip, but when the weather was bad he decided to take us to a Judas Priest concert. Regretfully I said no to both So when he took the others to go to the Judas Priest concert in the rain ,he tried to get seats undercover but couldn't , so he decided to go out for a steak dinner ,then I really regretted it. While @ work he would listen to 3 things that would drive me crazy after a half hr or so 1. Disney musc 2. 80s music 3. Rush Limbaugh Billy had a memory like no other, But, Would NEVER remember to put gas in work van. He was like Jesus when He fed the fish, an eighth of a tank would get him to Wild Wood! One time on way back from Wild Wood he seen a freind of his outside in his driveway. So Billy wips into his driveway & begins a half hr long conversation before I beeped his horn @ him while he was leaning on the van. Well the ride home was a little heated. But as always Billy & I got over our differences. Another thing Billy would do ,annually ,is walk for choices of the heart. Regrettably I only donated one time out of 8. This June I am going to walk for Billy in that walk in memory of him. I will always remember him as an awesome father that never missed his childrens events , no matter what the cost. And his sense of humor was like no other. love you Bill, see you soon! Cry for the new born, Rejoice for the passed on!
