Obituary for William G. Connors

William G. Connors
William G. Connors was a most generous and highly intelligent man whose greatest happiness came from serving others. He was a consummate story teller, avid reader - 3 newspapers daily - and crossword puzzler extraordinaire. Devoted family anchor, Bill especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. He instilled in all of his family a love of music and culture, especially jazz & classic cinema. Bill was a well respected business owner and a Korean War veteran. Celebrated host of countless brunches with his signature "chippy beef," he was also the renowned master of Irish coffee, as well as a human version of a GPS. Fat Mary's favorite had an exceptionally dry sense of humor, enjoyed tracking the stock market, and rolling the dice with Lady Luck. Billy was always happy to raise a glass with his extensive family and many friends.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Rita Connors (nee Zenobi), children: Brendon Connors, Karyn Connors (Kevyn), Jeffrey Connors, Kelley Aregood (Thomas), and Kristi Q Connors, grandchildren: Collin, Benjamin, Kaileigh, Nicholas, Ana, Cameron, Austyn, Connor, & Alexa, great granddaughter: McKenzie, siblings: Dorothy Ann Pensiero (late Nicholas), Elizabeth Guenther (late William), Robert Connors (June). He was also predeceased by Mary Boris (Vincent) & James Connors.

Family & friends are invited to visit with the family from 9 to 10:45 AM Tuesday, February 3rd, at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's Church, 845 Third Street, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097. A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM followed by entombment with military honors at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr, NJ. Contributions can be made to Infant Jesus Parish.
