Obituary for William H. Schickel
William H. Schickel, age 61 of West Deptford Twp. passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Bill was born in Camden, NJ and graduated from Woodbury High School Class of 1979. He retired from the city of Woodbury where he was a mechanic.
Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley Schickel (nee Beck), two children, Justin Schickel and Ian Nachman & his wife Melissa, two grandchildren, Jayden & Cora Nachman, his parents, William L. Schickel and Frances (nee Haywood), two sisters, Patty Schickel and Kelly Voss & her husband George, his mother-in-law, Shirley Beck, brother-in-law, Jimmy Beck, and three sisters-in-law, April Perri & her husband, John, Donna Beck, and Terri Beck. He was predeceased by his son, William Z. Schickel, and father-in-law, James Beck.
Family and Friends may visit from 5 pm to 7 pm on Saturday, November 11th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 7 pm. Interment will be private. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com.
