.....began for me on January 6, 1969.  I had been interviewed and hired by Mary along with Paul Desmond in early December 1968 at the YWCA.  On my first day Mary was there to greet all 10 of us who had been hired as insurance raters. We opened shop at 738 W. Fourth Street in Williamsport, PA, and grew monthly from that point on.  Mary spent most of her time interviewing, hiring additional staffing, training us and over the months and years that followed, Liberty Mutual became so big, our new Liberty Mutual was built and we opened for business at the Loyalsock site in 1974 and Mary was still there with us.  Liberty Mutual Williamsport was a combination of 3 production centers being consolidated, Bala Cynwyd, PA, Baltimore, MD, and East Orange, NJ.  Mary continued guiding the Williamsport Liberty Mutual until her retirement in 1975 and during that time she continued mentoring many of us.  I was fortunate to have kept in touch with her as she guided my career thru many promotions. In closing Mary Rockefeller, I want to thank you for being my mentor and friend all those years and I will always remember our laughable good and bad times together. To Mary's nieces, she loved you all dearly.  May God bless and keep you Mary until we all get there, rest in peace.  Love always.
