The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Thompson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

'Tim' was a great fullback at Paulsboro. I guess he went about 190 lbs. At about 150 myself I ate his cleats a lot of times. Having made the varsity defense as a sophomore, I knew he ran harder than anyone I tackled in a game. NO  ONE enjoyed tackling him in practice, and the coaches knew at least I would hang on til somebody helped out. I remember with a smile he liked to joke around on the team bus with his buddy Chris Costantino, which rankled the coaches, especially after a couple losses. It's amazing that living in the same town for 50 years, I'd only seen him a couple dozen times. I didn't get the chance to razz him for becoming a golfer.
