I just heard of Ed's passing today and to the Glassman family I am so very sorry for your loss. Ed was a great friend to me and my now ex-husband when we first met him at the 400 Club in 2000. He took my ex under his wing and was a terrific friend to both of us. I have many great memories of his coming over to our house to watch the Eagles with us and other Friends of Bill W. My heart is heavy today, but I can almost hear Ed saying "Don't be sad. I'm not." Rest assured, when God asked Ed, "What did you do with the people I sent you?" that Ed, with a clear conscience, said "I loved them at a time that they couldn't love themselves". I thank Ed's family for allowing him to be an inspiration for so many of Friends of Bill W. He will be forever in my heart...
