Condolence: My Grandmom had a beautiful life. I have memories of her driving my friends and I to swim practice, always having gingerale in her fridge at the house, playing pingpong with Scott in the basement, spending time with her down here in Florida sitting out on the Intracoastal at the Cameron, bragging about her to friends about her cars she drove. :) She is the sweetest lil thing, but don't let that fool you, she has jokes like you wouldn't believe! I wear all of her jewelry with much love. I love you Grandmom....Rest in Peace! Say hi to Grandpop for me :)

Condolence: It's very hard to say goodbye to my very best friend, my confidant, my mom. We have shared so many wonderful times together & supported each other through the difficult ones as well. Mom - you were unique, a real joy to have in my life and even though I miss you more than you will ever know, I understand that it was time for you to move onto a better place. Now you can go to any beach you want, any time you want and I will know everytime I visit a beach that you will be there smiling down on me. Thanks for all of the love you shared with Larry, Brett & I. Love you with all of my heart. Rest in peace.

Condolence: Eric and family,
I never met your Mom, but I feel like I know her. Over the years Eric has shared some very wondeful stories about his Mother. I know you all have fond memories that you will treasure forever and keep close to your heart! Peace be with you all.

Condolence: In September of 1998, a couple of my buddies and I were on a baseball vacation in the northeast, 6 ballparks in 7 days. I let Grandma know we'd be driving right by Mantua on our way from Baltimore to New York, and she insisted we stay the night (never mind Hector and Al being complete strangers to her). We all watched SportsCenter that night and learned that Cal Ripken, Jr. had not played that day, thus ending his ironman streak. The three of us were bummed that we had missed the big event by one day, but Evelen pointed out that while those fans got to see him NOT play, we still held ticket stubs to game #2632. I still treasure that little piece of paper. It's one of my favorite baseball memories, and one of my favorite of her.

Condolence: This will be "short and sweet" like you mom. Thank you for making our house the gathering spot of our neighborhood. You were the "cool" mom and all of our friends loved you. Through you we knew unconditional love all of our lives. You were the truest and most loyal of friends. Betty and Heidi would say that was an understatement I'm sure. All your sporty little cars knew their way to all the beaches, near and far, from your many jaunts, often by yourself. Always a working mom, independent and "forever young". If there was a ray of sunshine to be found in ANY situation you would find it! Many might think you had a long life, but for all of us who loved you it was much too short. Have a wonderful time celebrating your 63rd anniversary with dad. Bet he has arranged for "old blue eyes" to sing a tune or two for you in person.

Condolence: "It's gettting a little brighter, honey!"

Well, it *always* was for you, Mom, and you made us smile every time we heard that. You lived your life with that spirit, no matter what the circumstances might be. You were always looking for--and expecting--a ray of sunshine, and you brought that sunniness to everyone around you. You will always shine on to me--and to everyone who loved you so very much.

"Honey" was your special word for all of us and no one said that word quite like you. Hearing that was like receiving a quick little hug from the heart, and it made us feel instantly good all over. I will dearly, dearly miss that. But I'll carry it with me, too, Mom, always and forever.
