Only today I heard the sad news of Gerry's passing. I wish I had known, I would certainly have tried to come over. We go back a long time, from the time I spent and stayed with the entire Van Brill family (in the old house) and pushing concrete in the business to the multiple visits and interactions throughout the years after that. I have nothing but wonderful memories, Gerry's unparalelled hospitality and enthusiasm, the Indo connection, her love for Joop, her children and grandchildren. I feel sad Ive not been able to speak to her in her last year. My heart is with her. My deepfelt condolences to Joop and the rest of the family, Michael/Suzanne, Robert/Diane, Hans/Linda, Henske, Ralph and wider family. Marcel

Mrs.V's warm and loving demeanor made us feel like family from the moment we met her. She was so easy to talk to and was always eager to share her stories or use her wisdom to help solve problems! I will never forget the many life lessons she taught me - the most important ones being how to forgive and to cherish family. She treasured every one of her children, grandchildren & family members and the joy they brought her was always evident. Mrs.V will be missed terribly but she will be lovingly remembered forever.
