Condolence: Well Jack, I'm going to miss 'politicking' with you when i came to shoe the horses. Did you know you made my Dad happy when you said to say 'hello' from Farmer Jack in New Jersey? You would have thought you gave him something very valuable and you know, you did- good fellowship that extended all the way to Idaho. I'm going to miss you Jack and why did you have to leave too early.

Condolence: I have alot of wonderful memories of Jack going back to the 70s. He was such a kind person. Always a big smile and smiley eyes! I enjoyed talking animals with him and hearing about his farm animals. I remember Queenie his beagle.
Christmas dinners, Thanksgiving dinners,
4th of July celebrations at West Grove
were great. If we could only go back and relive those times! I have only good words and good rembrances of Jack.
May he rest in peace. I know he is in heaven with Gods animals.

God Bless you Jack.

Condolence: Oh how much happiness one life,Jack's life, brought to so many souls! The virtues of truly selfless love, simplicity, hard work, generosity, and constancy. I being a consecrated hermit and country nun suddenly../ temperarily... sent to the city for a time...Jack was a saving grace to me.I call him my smiling farm hermit friend who is always there for my priest friend for over 35 years. Visiting Jack was the weekly joy for this priest and it was how I came to know Jack and many of the friends at Jack's farm. It was the country solace in my city suffering. I could always count on a genuine big hug and a radiant smile from my farm hermit friend. I would look forward to talking about seasons and trends from insects to weather from seeds to migrations. Jack was a wise man and smart. The wise old farm smart that comes from living in the heartbeat of God's rythm in nature and the very deep respect that we need to cultivate. The Rhythm and harmony of God's Holy Will in the beauty that is his outdoor catherdal that the angels meticulously arrange...slowly and gently sweetly and fundamentally. Jack was caught up in this beauty and rhythm and only desired to be immerssed in it. Living a prayer song not understood by anyone of fast pace but to those who have been given this respect for God's rhythm and harmony. He couageously preserved it and defended it. This infectious and really contageous smile of Jack we know is eternal and is forever in our hearts and prayers. His great love for the meek and the weak, the stray and the lost, his mercy and frienship. Jack is one of Jesus's closest friends. His life not ended but changed...look at the butterfly... Saint Paul reminds us farmers, what is sown corruptible will rise glorious! WE now see our farm hermit friend sprouting into the glorious. Let us watch the farm and its seasons with new eyes...those smiling eyes of jack. Thank all of you Jack's friends for being our friends too. We all feel it together. Blessed are those who mourn for one day they shall laugh! I pray for all of you.

Condolence: With sad fondness I say good by Jack, you lived the life you wished to live, surrounded by friends who will miss you. You are a constant that is somewhere else now. I remember you and Gloria stopping in after dinner on Saturday night, and
most times I had a dessert for you. I expressed my wish that you sell your farm to live a luxurious life, it would offer you. But, you held on to your roots, and enjoyed your life as it was.
You have touched our lives in so many special ways.
