James "Jim" J McLaughlin III age 64, of Sea Isle City and Mickleton, NJ passed away suddenly on Monday June 30th, 2014. Jim was a true family man that lived life to the fullest, spending his best times in Sea Isle with Linda, Kristy, Kelli, Kathleen, family and grandkids. Jim's smile, fun loving personality, and work ethic will always be remembered. Jim was the owner of McLaughlin Construction for over 30 years in Sea Isle. Jim's work will forever serve as a monument to his dedication to family, friends, customers and Sea Isle City. James is survived by his wife Linda A. McLaughlin (Gottschling), mother Anna McLaughlin, 3 daughters, Kristy Carr (Christian), Kelli Velez (David), Kathleen McLaughlin, grandsons Michael and James, soon-to-be Baby Velez, sisters Patricia Morgan (Ward), Sheila Glanfield (Tom), and brother John McLaughlin (Kelly). Family and friends are invited to visit from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday July 2nd at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St. Mantua, NJ 08051 and from 11 AM to 12 Noon Thursday July 3rd at Church Of The Incarnation 240 Main St. Mantua, NJ.
